Querida Judy, por medio de la presente permítame enviarle un cordial saludo a Usted, a Dennis así como sus colaboradores.

El motivo de esta carta es para unirnos a Ustedes desde la capital azteca, en recuerdo y memoria del brutal asesinato perpetrado a Matt, agradecerles también por su arduo trabajo en la lucha y conquista de todos los derechos para la comunidad LGBT (LGBTQQ), así como la admiración a su Fortaleza en tiempos donde los derechos humanos a la comunidad sexo afectiva esta debilitada por los políticos de siempre, estos que solo nos buscan en tiempos electorales, mas aún ante grupos homofobicos y fundamentalistas.

También nos congratulamos ante la aprobación de la Ley Mattew Shepard en días pasados por los congresistas de su país, esperamos ahora solo que este trabajo de frutos ante la autorización del Presidente G. Bush.

Aquí en México realizaremos lo conducente para que este día no sea olvidado en la memoria y quede como recuerdo vivo la discriminación y los crímenes de odio que sufrimos, en México mueren alrededor de 350 personas al año por crímenes por odio debido a su orientación homosexual, queda mucho por hacer y camino que recorrer, caminos de dolor que nos unen y que esperamos recorrer juntos.
